2 Basic Training Groups
1 Formation Group – Transitions in the Midst of a Changing World
Group makeup 1 trainer and 6 – 12 participants
Purpose: In order to live creatively in the midst of our changing and diverse world, we will utilize the core EFM resources so that mentors may be equipped to identify, explore, plan and implement actions as we move through transitions to new life in the midst of change.
Training Objectives
• Provide opportunities for mentors to build awareness of change and transition in their lives.
• To use core EFM resources of theological reflection, stories and worship as the foundation of engaging change.
• Introduce transition theory.

Training events are held twice a year in the Diocese of Texas. We customarily offer 2 sections of Basic Mentor Training and 1 section of Formation Training.

Due to recent changes in Mentor Formation training requirements, the Formation events may be changed to Basic/Inservice events if demand so dictates.

Registration will be opened 60 to 90 days prior to the date of the training event. If you want to be on the email mailing list, contact Lucy Wagner

Training events are also held at Sewanee every month. You may attend training events in another diocese. For more information about mentor training events outside the Diocese of Texas click Other Training Events
